67) की धारा 18 द्वारा प्रित्त िजियों का प्रयोग करत ेहुए, कोजलयरी जनयंत्रण जनयम, 2004 का और संिोधन करन ेके जलए जनम्नजलजखत जनयम बनाती ह,ै अर्ाात-्

1. (1) इन जनयमों का संजिप्त नाम कोजलयरी जनयंत्रण (िसू रा संिोधन) जनयम, 2026 ह।ै

(2) य ेरािपत्र म ें उनके प्रकािन की तारीख स ेलागू होंगे।

2. कोजलयरी जनयंत्रण जनयम, 2004 म,ें जनयम 13 के स्ट्र्ान पर जनम्नजलजखत जनयम रखा िाएगा, अर्ाता ्:- "13. िाजस्ट्त— िो कोई भी इन जनयमों के उपबंधों का उल्लघं न करेगा, िह अजधजनयम की धारा 25क और 25ख और उनके अधीन बनाए गए जनयमों, अर्ाात ्खान और खजनि िाजस्ट्त का न्यायजनणायन जनयम, 2026 के उपबंधों के अनुसार िाजस्ट्त के जलए उत्तरिायी होगा।" [फा. स.ं पीएस1/1/2026-पीएस1] रूपपंिर बरार, अपर सजचि 6972 GI/2026 (1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)] टिप्पण:— मलू जनयम को भारत के रािपत्र, भाग 2, खंड 3, उप-खंड (i) में अजधसूचना संख्या सा.का.जन. 540 (अ), तारीख 25 अगस्ट्त, 2004 द्वारा प्रकाजित दकए गए र्े और तत्पश्चात ् अजधसूचना संख्या सा.का.जन. 546 (अ), तारीख 9 अगस्ट्त, 2021, सा.का.जन. 917 (अ), तारीख 23 दिसंबर, 2025 और अजधसूचना संख्या सा.का.जन. 710 (अ), तारीख 6 अगस्ट्त, 2026 द्वारा संिोजधत दकए गए । MINISTRY OF COAL

NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 9th September, 2026 G.S.R. 797(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 18 of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Colliery Control Rules, 2004, namely:—

1. (1) These rules may be called the Colliery Control (Second Amendment) Rules, 2026.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Colliery Control Rules, 2004, for rule 13, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:— “13. Penalty.— Whoever contravenes the provisions of these rules shall be liable to penalty as per the provisions of section 25A and 25B of the Act and the rules made thereunder, that is, the Mines and Minerals Adjudication of Penalties Rules, 2026 ” .
