Posted On: 16 SEP 2026 5:58PM by PIB Delhi Under the guidance of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievance, the Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice is organizing Special Campaign 6 for institutionalizing Swachhata and minimizing pendency with a special emphasis on โEffective collection, segregation and disposal of e-wasteโ. The Special Campaign 6 will be organized by the Department in two phases. Phase-I, which is the identification phase for various pending matters (like References from MPs, Parliamentary Assurances, References from the State Governments, Inter ministerial references, Public Grievances etc.), will be held from 15.09.2026 to 30.09.2026. During this phase sites requiring sprucing and cleaning will also be identified.
Subsequently, in Phase-II, which will be held from 02.10.2026 to 31.10.2026, all efforts will be made to achieve the targets identified in the Preparatory Phase. The Department of Justice reiterates its commitment to timely disposal of the pending matters. The Department will monitor the progress of the Special Campaign 6 and upload report on daily basis on the Web-portal for the Special Campaign 6 launched by the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances on 16 September,
2026.
The Department of Justice has already been taking measures for making the Special Campaign 6 a successful campaign. Apart from taking necessary actions in overall working of the Department of Justice, the National Judicial Academy (NJA), Bhopal and the National Legal Services Authority of India (NALSA) have also been involved in the Campaign. All the Officers/Officials of the Department of Justice have been sensitized about the campaign earlier on 09.09.2026 for making this campaign a success. Further, a dedicated hour on each day of the Campaign period, has been prescribed for giving special treatment to the matters connected with the Campaign.
