Ministry of Finance DFS Wins First Prize under ‘Rajbhasha Kirti’ for 2025-26 at 6th All India Official Language Conference and Hindi Diwas Award recognises outstanding implementation and innovative achievements in Official Language Hindi during 2025-26

Posted On: 14 SEP 2026 7:28PM by PIB Delhi The Department of Financial Services was awarded the First Prize under 'Rajbhasha Kirti' (in the category of ministries/departments with fewer than 300 personnel) for its outstanding implementation and innovative achievements in the field of Official Language during the year 2025-26.

The award was presented during the 6th All India Official Language Conference and Hindi Diwas organised by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, under the chairmanship of the Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah. The conference took place on 14– 15 September 2026 at the CIDCO Exhibition Centre, Vashi, Navi Mumbai.On behalf of the Department of Financial Services, this prestigious award was received by Shri Hari Har Mishra, Additional Secretary, from the Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation. Representatives from various ministries/departments and institutions working in the field of Official Language from across the country attended the conference.

This award, conferred by the Department of Official Language, was presented to the Department of Financial Services for its outstanding implementation, effective use, and innovative achievements in Official Language Hindi during the year 2025-26.
