GENERAL NOTIFICATIONS Variation to the Review Approved Karur Master Plan for the Karur Local Planning Area (Roc No:08/2026/KD-1) No.VI(1)/446/2026.
1) In exercise of powers conferred under sub-section (4) of the Section 32 of Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972), Land use conversion from Agricultural Use Zone into Residential Use Zone is ordered vide G.O.(2Pa) No. 207, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(CLU-1)] Department dated: 01.07.2026.
2) In exercise of powers conferred vide G.O(MS) No 102, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(L.Re-1)]
Department dated: 18.08.2021, the following variations are made to the Master Plan of Karur Local Planning Authority which was Review approved under the said Act in G.O.Ms. No.237, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(2)]
Department dated: 01.11.2010 and in Notification No: II(2)/HOU/700/2010 at page No: 815, of Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated 24.11.2010.
Variation In the said Review Approved Karur Master Plan, in the land use schedule, under the heading in Thanothani Village
at Page Nos: 83, 84, 85 with regard S.F.Nos: 634/1B2 & 635/1B1 the following entries should be made:
1. Under the sub heading Use Zone, in the S.F.No. against the entry Residential-MR, the expression 634/1B2 & 635/1B1 shall be inserted after the expression 612.
2. Under the sub heading Use Zone, in the S.F.No. against the entry Agriculture, the expression "629 to 652" shall be deleted and the expression 629 to 633, All sub divisions of 634 except 634/1B2 all sub division of 635 except 635/1B1 to 636 to 652 Shall be substituted.

Variation to the Approved Thanjavur Master Plan for the Thanjavur Local Planning Area (Roc No: BCN0IA08 /689/2026TD2) No.VI(1)/447/2026.
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (4) of section 32 of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972 and also in exercise of powers conferred by Government order Ms.No:94, Housing and Urban Development [UD(4)1] Department dated 12.06.2009 published in Tamil Nadu Government
Gazette No:27, Part II—Section 2, in Page No:228 dated 15.07.2009, the following variations are made to the Master Plan for Thanjavur Local Planning Area Approved under the said Act and published in the Housing and Urban
Development Department Notification at page No: 879 of Part VI—Section 2 of Tamil Nadu Government Gazette date 11th October 1995.
Variations In the said Master Plan in the “LAND USE SCHEDULE” under the heading “Thanjavur Local Planning Area, Melachitharkadu Village” i) Against the “Agricultural Dry use zone(AGD-4)” R.S.No.21/10 shall be deleted ii) Against Residential use (PR-13)R.S.No.21/10 shall be added
Condition:
1) Since the “Patta Kanni”irrigation channel is situated to the south of the proposed site, appropriate guidelines applicable to developments near water bodies must be followed. Furthermore, the conditions stipulated in the resolution passed by the Thanjavur Local Planning Authority on 01 March 2026 must be strictly adhered to.
2) Development works should be carried out as per Tamil Nadu Combined development and Building Rules 2019.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of section 32 of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972), Government in the order G.O(2D)Ms.No.235, Housing and Urban development [UD4(CLU-1)] department, dated:07.08.2026 has permitted to change of land use of survey numbers making the following variation to the Master Plan for the Gummidipoondi Local Planning Area, approved under the said Act and published in the Housing and Urban Development Department Notification No.II(2)/HOU/610/2000 dated.07.06.2000, at Page No.295 of Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated: 7th June 2000.
Variations In the said Master Plan, in the "LAND USE SCHEDULE" of VILLAGE NUMBER: 233, THERVALI under the heading:
VI. AGRICULTURAL USE ZONE: Instead of expression S.F.No.339 (Except 339/1, 2,3pt, 339/3B1C, 339/3B1D, 339/3B2A) and S.F.No.340(Except 340/1, 340/3, 340/4A, 340/4B, 340/5A, 340/5B, 340/6A, 340/6B, 340/7A, 340/7B, 340/8, 340/9A1, 340/9A2 and 340/9B) shall be substituted.
I RESIDENTIAL USE ZONE: I(a) PRIMARY RESIDENTIAL USE ZONE: S.F.No's. 339/3B1C, 339/3B1D, 339/3B2A, 340/3, 340/4A, 340/4B, 340/5A, 340/5B, 340/6A, 340/6B, 340/7A, 340/7B, 340/8, 340/9A1, 340/9A2 and 340/9B, shall be added.

Variation to the Approved Coimbatore Master Plan for the Local Planning Area (Roc No: 3408/2026/COD3) No.VI(1)/449/2026.
In Exercise of power conferred under sub section (4) of Section 32 of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972) and exercise of powers confirmed by the G.O.Ms.No.94 Housing and Urban Development (4-1) Department dated 12.06.2009 which has been published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No: 27 Part II—Section 2 dated 15.07.2009.
2. Land use zone conversion from Agriculture land use zone into Residential land zone ordered in G.O.(2D) No.250, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(CLU-1)] Department Dated: 21.08.2026 subject to conditions the following variation are made to the approved Master Plan of Coimbatore Local Planning Area under the said act and published in the G.O.Ms.No.103 Housing and Urban Development [UD4(2)] dated. 04.07.2025 notification No II(2)/HOU/582(m)/2025 of Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government (Extraordinary) Gazette No.343, dated 07.07.2025.
Variations In the Approved Coimbatore Master Plan, under the heading permitted land use in various survey numbers of Coimbatore Local Planning Area, under heading in Page No: 381 to 383 the Coimbatore District, Sulur Taluk. Kalangel Panchayat/Village. S.F.No: 215/2B the following entries should be made.
Under the heading "Residential land use" the expression S.F.No: 215/2B shall be added Under the heading "Agriculture land use" the expression S.F.No: 215/2B shall be deleted in the expression S.F.No: 215pt and the expression S.F.No: 215pt (Except S.F.No.215/2B) shall be substituted.

1. In exercise of the powers conferred under the sub section of (4) of the section 32 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act No:35 of 1972), Land use conversion from Public and Semi-Public Use Zone into Residential Use Zone is ordered in G.O.370, Housing and Urban Development Department dated: 07.10.2024,
2. In exercise of the power conferred vide GO Ms. No: 102, Housing and Urban Development [(UD 4(1)] department dated 18.08.2021, the following variation are to be made to the Consented Master Plan of Ambasamudram Local Planning Authority consented under the said act and published in the G.O(Ms.) No. 31, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(2)] dated 07.02.2008, Notified in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette at the page 251, 252 of Part VI—Section 1 of the dated
30.07.2008 Variation In the Consented Ambasamudram Master Plan in the Annexure-C, Land use Schedule, under the heading Mela Ambasamudram Village, regarding Survey No: 99/2, the following entries should be made.
1. Under the sub heading Mixed Residential Use Zone and under sub heading MR7 in the page 52, Survey No: 99/2 shall be inserted after the expression 98 and before the expression 113.
2. Under the sub heading Public and Semi-Public Use Zone and under sub heading P&S9 in the page 54, the
expression Survey No: 99 shall be deleted and be substituted with Survey No: 99pt (except 99/2).
