67) की धारा 13 द्वारा प्रित्त िजियों का प्रयोग करत े हुए, खजनि ररयायत जनयम, 1960 का और संिोधन करने के जलए जनम्नजलजखत जनयम बनाती ह,ै अर्ाात:् -

1. (1) इन जनयमों का संजिप्त नाम खजनि ररयायत (िसू रा सिं ोधन) जनयम, 2026 ह।ै

(2) य ेरािपत्र म ें उनके प्रकािन की तारीख स ेलागू होंगे।

NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 9th September, 2026 G.S.R. 796(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13 of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Mineral Concession Rules, 1960, namely:—

1. (1) These rules may be called the Mineral Concession (Second Amendment) Rules, 2026.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Mineral Concession Rules, 1960, for rule 76, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:— “76. Penalty.— Whoever contravenes the provisions of these rules shall be liable to penalty as per the provisions of section 25A and 25B of the Act and the rules made thereunder, that is, the Mines and Minerals Adjudication of Penalties Rules, 2026 ”.

Note.— The principal rules were published in the Gazette of India, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide notification number G.S.R. 1398, dated the 26th November, 1960 and lastly amended vide notification number G.S.R. 150(E), dated the 27th Feb, 2026.
