Posted On: 16 SEP 2026 7:35PM by PIB Delhi The Ministry of Housing and urban Affairs, in collaboration with their attached/subordinate offices, PSUs, will actively participate for the Special Campaign 6 from 2nd October, 2026 to 31st October, 2026. The objective of the campaign is institutionalising Swachhata and reducing pendency in Government offices.

Special Campaign 6 will be organized in two phases—Preparatory Phase (15th – 30th September 2026) and Implementation Phase (2nd – 31st October 2026).

T his year’s campaign will place special emphasis on "Effective Collection, segregation and disposal of e-waste" in strict adherence to the guidelines of the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022. Alongside e- waste disposal, the drive will ensure timely clearance of pending matters relating to MP's References, References from State Governments, Inter-Ministerial communications, Parliamentary Assurances, PMO references, Public Grievances, and PG Appeals (CPGRAMS).

Aligned with the vision for a Swachh Bharat and enhancing the public experience with Government offices, the focus of the campaign this year shall also be on field/outstation offices responsible for service delivery. Organizations such as CPWD, NBCC have confirmed full cooperation for outdoor cleanliness drives, building facelifts, and e-waste management awareness.
