THE BAR COUNCIL OF GUJARAT SUPPLEMENTARY NOTIFICATION It is hereby notified that, in continuation of the earlier Notification published on 6th June, 2026 in Part IV-C of the Gujarat Government Gazette, and in compliance with the email bearing Nos. BCI:D:2928/2026 dated 12/05/2026 and
BCI:D:2941/2026 dated 13/05/2026 of the Bar Council of India as well as in compliance of the directions issued by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India vide order dated 04/08/2026 in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 581 of 2024 with Writ Petition (Civil) No. 1060 of 2025 in case of Yogamaya M.G. Vs. Union of India & Ors., and vide order dated 02/09/2026 in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 1049 of 2026 and Writ Petition (Civil) No. 1092 of 2026 in case of M.
Varadhan Vs. Union of India & Ors. Further, pursuant to the letter received from the Learned Registrar General, High Court of Gujarat, bearing No. C.2611/2026 dated 11/09/2026, the Hon’ble the Chief Justice, High Court of Gujarat, has
been pleased to nominate: (1) Hon’ble Ms. Justice Mauna M. Bhatt (Retired) and (2) Ms. Megha Jani, Senior Advocate, as Co-opted Women Members of the Bar Council of Gujarat.
